Chadron, Neb. – The Black Hills State volleyball team travelled to Chadron, Neb. for a scrimmage on Saturday.  The Yellow Jackets squared off against Chadron State, Laramie County Community College, Eastern Wyoming, and S.D. School of Mines.

“We struggled early, but we improved as the day went on,” said head coach Jhett Albers.  “It was nice to get out and see where we are at.  This is the first time that we have been allowed to scrimmage in the spring and it was a great experience for our team.”

The Yellow Jackets will open up the 2010 season with a scrimmage on Aug. 17 followed by their first regular season matches at a tournament hosted by Azusa Pacific in Azusa, Calif. on Aug. 19-21.
