Tucson, Arizona – On the third day of the Tucson Invitational the Yellow Jackets played three games winning one and losing two. The Yellow Jackets fell to a very good Madonna University 7-0, bounced back against Cardinal Stritch 10-0 and lost to Robert Morris University 8-2.

The losing pitcher in game one was sophomore Katie Wagner. Junior Ashley Berg was 2/3 on the day but the Jackets could not overcome the six errors they committed. Alex Huntington picked up the win in the second game with the first shut out of her career. Huntington had 3 strikeouts on the day and gave up only 2 hits. Losing pitcher was Kayla Schlegel. In the second game Aleishia Giesey brought in three of the 10 runs scored by the Jackets. Nikki Chacon picked up the loss as the Yellow Jackets fell 8-2 in their final day of the game to Robert Morris University. Offensively junior Ashley Berg was 2/4; junior Krista Gleiforst was 2/3 with both RBIs of the game and senior Danielle Briere went 2/3.

Black Hills State University will play three games Saturday in the final day at the Tucson Iniviational before heading back to South Dakota
