Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University Lady Yellow Jackets continue to improve in all phases of the game as the defeated the Valley City State University Vikings 80-70 at the Donald Young Center.

For the 3rd straight game the Yellow Jackets had at least four players scoring double digit points. Tonight five Yellow Jackets netted at least 10 points. The Jackets were led by junior Katelynn Lamb who finish the contest with 16 points. The four other Yellow Jackets scoring at least 10 points were Jenna Bolstad with 15, Keely Krowlikowski with 15, Kristi Ryan netted 15 points, and Brittany Fuhrman round out the top 5 scorers with 11 points.

The Jackets shot well from all places on the court. They finished the contest shooting 47% from the field 45% from behind the arc and 85% from the charity stripe. This was the Jackets 14th straight win and they look to continue that streak against the Jamestown Jimmies Tuesday, March 2nd at the Donald E. Young Center.
