Katelynn Gordon has recently signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Black Hills State University beginning in the fall of 2010.  Katie is currently a senior at Brookings High School. 

As a senior, Katie was named All-Conference, 2nd Team All-State, and Brookings Register 1st Team All-Region in helping Brookings High School to a very successful season.  Katie was also part of the South Dakota Volleyball Club.  Not only was Gordon exceptional on the volleyball court she was also a standout basketball player and student in the classroom.

“We are extremely excited to have Katie join our program.  She is a perfect fit to our family and we are excited to watch her grow as a Yellow Jacket,” said Head Coach Jhett Albers.

Katie will be joining a very successful Yellow Jacket program that has won 94 games in the last four seasons including two DAC Conference Tournament Championships and two trips to the NAIA National Tournament.

Katie’s parents are Allen and Karen Gordon.
