Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University Lady Yellow Jackets come from behind to get an impressive win over the Dickinson State University Blue Hawks 66-63 Saturday night.
The Yellow Jackets showed that any player on the floor can take over any game at any time. The Jackets were led by freshmen Morgan Mines who finished the Contest with 14 points, three assists, and five rebounds. Junior Katelynn Lamb hit a clutch basket in the final seconds to put the Jackets up by 2. Keely Krowlikowski hit one of two free throws to put the nail in coffin for Dickinson.
“We really showed our depth off the bench tonight.” Said Assistant Coach Ray Ginsbach “This is what we have been striving for all season; we are just where we want to be heading into the post season.”
With the Victory the Yellow Jackets will host Mayville State University in the first round of Dakota Athletic Conference playoffs Wednesday at 5:30 P.M. at the Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish.
