This past weekend the Yellow Jackets traveled to Morris, MN and Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD.  BHSU defeated The Minnesota Morris Cougars 66-61 on Friday and The Presentation College Saints 66-64 in an overtime thriller to advance to 9-4 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets had solid contributions off the bench to get them the win. The Jackets made 13 of 15 free throws in the second half and finished the evening shooting 78.3% from the charity strip. Craig Von Allman led the Jackets in scoring with 12 points. Von Allman finished the evening with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 blocked shot, and 2 steals. The Cougars were lead by Phil Allen who led all scorers with 20 points.

Saturday evening the Yellow Jackets struggled shooting the ball. They finished shooting 34.5% from the field and 28.6% from behind the arc. The exception to that was freshman Craig Von Allman who shot 66% from the field and 50% from behind the arc. Von Allman led all scorers with 22 points.  Will John Johnson, Cain Atkinson and Clay Pottorff all fouled out of the game for the Jackets. The Yellow Jackets over-came the foul trouble and got the victory in over-time 66-64 and improved to 9-4 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets will now travel to Denver, Colorado to take on Metro State College in an exhibition game this Saturday!
