Thursday, December 3 - The Yellow Jackets came up with an impressive win against rival South Dakota School of Mines Thursday evening at the Donald E. Young Center.

The game was tightly contested into the second half, but lights out shooting by Katelynn Lamb who dropped 15. The Yellow Jackets were also fueled by Alana Dykhouse’s 11 rebounds.
Despite being down three points at the halfway mark, Black Hills State came out firing in the second half.

The Yellow Jackets outscored the Hardrockers 42 to 24 in the second half to get a much desired victory.
Mandy Willmore netted a team high 20 points for the Hardrockers and was followed by Bethany Holyoak with 10.

Next up for the Yellow Jackets is an exhibition matchup against Division I University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D.
