The Yellow Jackets improved to 5-2 on the season this past Friday night as they hosted Rocky Mountain College.  The Yellow Jackets took control from the tip building an early double figure lead.  BHSU led at halftime 52-26.  In the second half, the Yellow Jackets continued their hot shooting from the field to increase their lead even more and eventually take the game 100-65.  BHSU was led by senior guard Brittany Fuhrman who finished the night with seven three-pointers and 23 points.  Junior guard Katelynn Lamb had 19 points, sophomore guard Kristi Ryan had 12 points, senior forward Jenna Bolstad and freshman forward Morgan Mines each added 10 points.  The Yellow Jackets shot 52% from the field and 56% from behind the arc. 

The Yellow Jackets now travel today for Laramie, Wyoming for an exhibition game against Division I University of Wyoming.  Wyoming is a member of the Mountain West Conference.  Game time is set for Tuesday night at 7 pm.  The Yellow Jackets will then travel this weekend to Rapid City for the South Dakota School of Mines Classic Friday and Saturday.  Please check the schedule for exact game times.
