Sophomore Luke Enos added more to his outstanding list of accomplishments for the 2008-09 season by being named 2nd Team All American this past week in helping the Yellow Jackets advance to the school’s first ever final four appearance in the National Tournament. Along with being named 2nd Team All American he was also named to the NAIA National Championship All Tournament Team for his outstanding effort in the four games that BHSU played in Branson, MO. These accomplishments go along with Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Year, 1st Team All DAC, and three-time DAC Player of the week.
Sophomores Cain Atkinson and Will John Johnson each earned Honorable Mention All American honors. Atkinson helped the Yellow Jackets advance past the first round of the National Tournament by scoring 21 points in the win over Cal State East Bay. He also was named 1st Team All-DAC and earned DAC Player of the Week one time in 2008-09. Along with his list of accomplishments Cain Atkinson also went over the 1000 point mark this season bringing his total to 1051 points in his first two years as a Yellow Jacket. Will John Johnson averaged 10 rebounds a game and shattered the BHSU total rebounds in a season record grabbing 348 rebounds breaking the old record of 313 previously set by Jeff Stevens. He was also named 1st Team All DAC and led the conference in rebounding.

BHSU will lose seniors AJ Fodness, Randy Herman, Aaron Sutton, and Keighton Hatten to graduation. The Yellow Jackets have already added senior transfer Jonathon Ferrie, freshman Tanner Adler, and freshman Jordan Dolph for the upcoming season.
