The Yellow Jackets entered this past weekend 16-5, and ranked 7th in the NAIA.  Friday, against Dakota State University the Yellow Jackets got off to a strong start taking a 33-25 advantage into halftime.  In the second half BHSU shot 52% from the field to increase their lead to double figures.  The final was 74-58 Yellow Jackets.  BHSU was led by freshman Piggy Pili with 19 points.  Sophomore Katelynn Lamb and freshman Tiffany Thomas each had 12 points and sophomore Brittany Fuhrman added 11 points.

Saturday, Mayville State University played the Yellow Jackets tough for the first 20 minutes only trailing by four going into halftime 31-27.  In the second half the Yellow Jackets outscored the Comets by 16 points to take the game 81-61.  BHSU shot an outstanding 71% from the field in the second half.  BHSU was led by Katelynn Lamb with 18 points.  Piggy Pili and Tiffany Thomas each added 17 points. 

The 18-5 Yellow Jackets will be at home this weekend as they will take on Minot State University on Friday and Dickinson State University Saturday.  Last time the Yellow Jackets played these two teams they lost at Dickinson State and defeated Minot State in Minot, ND.  If you are unable to attend the games you can see them live on the BHSU Athletics Website through pay per view.
