The 9th ranked Yellow Jackets entered the game Thursday looking to improve in conference to 4-1 and 15-4 overall. They knew going in that this would be an extremely tough game.  “It doesn’t matter what the records are whenever you get these two teams together it will always be a tough physical game,” said Head Coach Mark Nore.

The first half was dominated by the Yellow Jackets as they build a 20 point lead going into halftime 47-27.  The Yellow Jackets were able to force some key turnovers in the first half with their full court pressure.  The Hardrockers came roaring back trimming the Yellow Jacket lead to nine points in the second half but BHSU was too much as they took the game 75-63.  The Yellow Jackets were led by junior Brittany Fuhrman with 18 points.  Freshman Piggy Pili added 14 points.

The 15-4 Yellow Jackets will return to action this next weekend as they will take on Jamestown College and Valley City State University in the Donald E. Young Center.  Please check the schedule for exact game times.
