The Yellow Jackets traveled to Dickinson State and Minot State this past weekend. BHSU entered the weekend 13-3 and ranked 10th in the NAIA.

Friday, the Yellow Jackets got off to a sluggish start trailing 46-34 at halftime.  The Yellow Jackets tried to get back on track in the second half but Dickinson continued their hot shooting behind guard Kelsey Boedeker who ended up with 29 points on the evening.  The final score was 71-57 Dickinson State.  The Yellow Jackets were led by sophomore Katelynn Lamb with 19 points.  Junior Jenna Bolstad added 11 points. 

Saturday, the Yellow Jackets got off to a fast start building an 18 point lead going into halftime 52-34 behind hot shooting from junior guard Brittany Fuhrman and freshman guard Keely Krolikowski.  In the second half the Yellow Jackets maintained their lead taking the game 88-71.  BHSU was led by Brittany Fuhrman with 20 points including five three pointers.  With her shooting performance Saturday Brittany broke the record for most three pointers made in a career with 229.  Amanda Schelle had the previous record at 228.  Keely Krolikowski had 17 points and Katelynn Lamb added 13 points.

The 14-4 Yellow Jackets will now travel to rival South Dakota School of Mines Thursday night.  Game time will be at 5:30pm in Rapid City, South Dakota.  They will return home the following weekend to take on Valley City State University and Jamestown College.
