The Yellow Jackets traveled this past weekend to Dickinson, ND to take on Rocky Mountain College and Montana State University-Northern.  Entering the weekend the Yellow Jackets were 6-2 on the season.

Friday, BHSU got off to a strong start behind junior guard Brittany Fuhrman who finished the game with 19 points.  The Yellow Jackets and the Battlin Bears were even at halftime 27-27.  In the second half Rocky Mountain shot 59% from the field and 50% from behind the arc to take the game 70-60.  Sophomore Katelynn Lamb added nine points.

Saturday, the Yellow Jackets took a six point lead into halftime 31-25.  In the second half strong outside shooting kept the Yellow Jackets on top taking the game 67-60.  BHSU shot 53% from behind the arc on Saturday making eight three point shots.  They were led by Brittany Fuhrman with 20 points.  Katelynn Lamb added 15 points.

The 7-3 Yellow Jackets will return home this weekend to open Dakota Athletic Conference play against Mayville State University and Dakota State University.  Please check the schedule for game times.  If you are unable to attend you can see both games live through pay per view on the BHSU Athletics Website.
