The Lady Yellow Jackets took on South Dakota Mines to kickoff their post season play this past Saturday. Junior Kristin Engle set the tone early with strong play at the net. She ended with 12 kills on the evening. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Hardrockers in three games to move on to the semifinals. Junior setter Mandy Brumfield had 30 assists.

"We had three really competitive games against South Dakota Mines and we really stepped up in game three.  Our team is very excited about tonight and we know how important it is to get into the DAC Finals on Saturday," said Head Coach Jhett Albers.

Tonight the 22-6 Yellow Jackets will be at home to take on Minot State in the DAC Semifinals.  Game time is at 7 pm in the Donald E. Young Center.  If you are unable to attend the game please visit the Yellow Jacket Athletics webpage to view the game through pay per view.
