The Yellow Jackets will make their trip four hours up HWY 85 this Saturday to Dickinson, ND. Dickinson State3-3 (3-0 DAC) is coming off three conference wins in a row after losing their first three games. The Yellow Jackets 5-1 (3-0 DAC) enter the game winning their last four contests. “We are fortunate to be where we are with some of the injuries we have endured but now we need to step it up a notch going into the final push of the season” said Head Coach John Scott
The Blue Hawks enter the game behind senior quarterback Brandon Bishop-Parise who has thrown for over a 1000 yards on the season so far with eight touchdowns. In the running game junior Zach Hepperle will carry most of the load leading the Blue Hawks in all purpose yards in 2008. “Dickinson State has a great balance between run and pass. They are really coached well and it has shown” added Coach Scott. Defensively the Blue Hawks will look to slow down the Yellow Jackets through their physical play. “They will really look to be physical with us this weekend” said Coach Scott.
Keys to Saturday’s game for the Yellow Jackets are offensively to control the line of scrimmage and get a balance between run and pass. Defensively the Yellow Jackets will look to control the Blue Hawks running game first.
