The Black Hills State University cross country teams travel this weekend to compete Saturday against foes from the Dakota Athletic Conference, Frontier Conference, Division II Montana State Billings and two community colleges. The men's race is scheduled at 11:00 am at Riverfront Park and the women follow at 11:45 am.
In the latest NAIA National Poll the Running Yellow Jacket women are ranked sixth and the men twelfth. The women's team will be without Kerry Nekuda and according to coach Walkinshaw "will need someone to fill in the fifth scoring position". Teams competing include: Blackfeet Community College, MSU-B, Carroll College, Dickinson State, Flathead Valley Community College, University of Great Falls, Jamestown College, Rock Mountain College and South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
