The Lady Yellow Jackets got off to a rocky start against Jamestown College Friday night but were able to bounce back to win the match 3-1.  After losing the first game 15-25, the Yellow Jackets won the next three 26-24, 25-14, and 25-22 to take the match.  With the win BHSU improves to 11-5 on the season and 3-0 in the Dakota Athletic Conference.  

The Yellow Jackets were led by sophomore Maggie O’Neill with 15 kills followed by junior Kristin Engle with 11 kills.  Junior setter Mandy Brumfield had 44 assists on the evening.  

“This was a great win for us tonight.  We had to battle some adversity early in the first game.  We learned and we were able to finish the match strong” said Head Coach Jhett Albers.

The Yellow Jackets will look to stay perfect on the weekend as they take on Valley City State University today at 3 PM in the Young Center.
