The Yellow Jackets are getting set this week to take on South Dakota School of Mines in the last non-conference game.  South Dakota School of Mines is coming into Lyle Hare Stadium this week fresh off a 2-0 start winning big over Haskell Indian Nations and Trinity Bible.  “We must play a complete game in all phases from the first play to the last play. In the two wins Mines has really shown the ability to score and they are not making the mistakes they have in the past. They have better athletes and more experience returning this season” said Head Coach John Scott.

“Offensively we have to be really focused and get into a rhythm with the running game. Defensively we need to play assignment football because Mines has been very versatile on offense in the first two weeks of the season. We also need to continue to improve on special teams and continue to make strides” added Coach Scott.

The activities will all kick off this Saturday starting with the Swarm Days parade at 10 AM followed by the tailgate in the Young Center parking lot leading up to game time at 1 PM.  Following the game that evening there will be a Williams and Ree Concert in the Donald Young Center Gymnasium starting at 7 PM. If you are unable to make it to the game this Saturday then it can be seen on the BHSU Athletic website through pay per view.
