The Black Hills State volleyball team defeated Jamestown 3-2 on Friday night to advance to the championship match.

The Yellow Jackets lost game one 30-27. However, Black Hills State bounced back and won games two and three by scores of 30-24 and 30-23, respectively. The Jiummes took game four 30-25. The Yellow Jackets had to use some game five heroics and won the deciding game 18-16.

The Yellow Jackets will face Dickinson State in the Dakota Athletic Conference championship match on Saturday night.
