Specific content areas include:
- (5) Language arts – speech/debate. 18 semester hours with at least six in upper division coursework, to include a language arts methodology course, speech/debate: theories of communication, function of the individual, language acquisition, and context variables, such as setting, purpose, audience, and subject. The endorsement may be added with either coursework or the passage of the designated state test.
