Specific content areas include:
- (1) Language arts - composition/grammar: 18 semester hours with at least six in upper division coursework, to include a language arts methodology course, reading, the structure and usage of grammar in written language, the purpose and form of written communications to a variety of audiences, and advanced composition. The endorsement may be added with either coursework or the passage of the designated state test.
