- Adams Museum and House
- Administrative: Assist with fundraising, grant writing, and membership
- Docent: Tour and relate history to visitors through a restored 1892 Victorian house
- Education: Assist with school tours (fall & winter)
- Gallery Guides: Answer questions for a specific gallery in the museum
- Gardens: Weed, mulch, and water flowerbeds
- Interpretation Assistant: Assist with museum artifact care and display
- Office: Assist with data entry, distribution of flyers, quarterly newsletters, mailings
- Sales Associate at Adams House Gift Shop or Museum Bookstore: Answer questions, assist with purchases, operate register, price and stock merchandise, clean displays
- Special Events: Assist at events; may include greeting, serving, set-up, tear-down, and seating
- Teas and Tours: Baking, serving, set-up, tear-down, seating; also seeking a director of this program
- Visitor Services: Greet and interact with visitors, answer history/tourism questions
- Other opportunities include: Curatorial work, brochure design/creation, exhibit design, recruitment
Not all volunteer opportunities are available at all times of the year.
