Black Hills State University is able to assist with helping plan and host events ranging from a small intimate meeting to a large banquet. Rooms can be rented throughout the campus to help meet your specific needs.

Grab food or coffee on the go at the Buzz Shack or Jacket Java. Dining Services also offers a variety of catering options for events on campus or within the Spearfish community.

Library Privileges

E.Y. Berry Library Learning CenterCommunity members and alumni are all welcome to use the E.Y. Berry Library-Learning Center for research and study. Materials can even be checked out! Historians and western-enthusiasts will enjoy browsing the Case Library for Western Historical Studies, located on the second floor of the library.

Sturgis Rally Lodging & Dining

Sturgis RallyBlack Hills State University offers on-campus housing to the public during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at a reasonable rate. A delicious breakfast buffet is also provided at a feasible price for our Rally guests.

University Bookstore

Campus Media

Testing Services

The Office of Academic Support proctors exams for Non-Black Hills State University students and provides the opportunity to take certain standardized tests. 

Digital Media Resources

Digital Media Resource ServicesThe BHSU library, in collaboration with the Digital Media Resource Services department, allows BHSU students, faculty, staff, and members of the community the opportunity to rent various instructional media and equipment. From LCD projectors to digital cameras, equipment can be rented at a reasonable rate.
