In honor of the South Dakota Supreme Court’s 125th anniversary, Dr. John Glover, professor of American Indian Studies at Black Hills State University, and his collaborative partners released ‘The Judicial Voices Project’ website recently.
Scholar-athletes at Black Hills State University have impressive grade point averages (GPAs). Jhett Albers, director of athletics, said BHSU scholar-athlete GPA statistics are impressive every year but even more impressive this year because BHSU has increased the number of scholar-athletes participating in the University’s athletic programs.
When Izabelle Choi was in fourth grade in South Korea, she vividly remembers seeing a picture in a textbook of the “Big Stone Faces” in South Dakota. Twenty years later, she stood in front of the Big Stone Faces, otherwise known as Mount Rushmore in Keystone, South Dakota, after accepting a job at Black Hills State University.
