Here at Black Hills State University, we believe learning is a lifelong process. From camps for children to for-credit classes for those who need to renew a license, Black Hills State hosts opportunities to encourage a lifelong habit of learning. Non-Credit and Visitor Pass

Non-Credit ClassesThrough a Visitor Pass or an online non-credit program, Black Hills State University is providing excellent non-credit opportunities for life-long learning for community and professional development, economic growth and personal enrichment.

Lecture Series

Lecture SeriesMembers of the community are encouraged to attend a variety of lectures and presentations taking place each semester at BHSU.

Testing Services

The Office of Academic Support proctors exams for Non-Black Hills State University students and provides the opportunity to take certain standardized tests. 

For-Credit 

Accredited ClassesIf you are a returning student or simply wanting to take classes without obtaining a degree, you can take for-credit coursework through Black Hills State. We encourage you to check out the guidelines for Returning or Non-Degree seeking students.

Conferences and Camps

Conferences and CampsBlack Hills State University hosts a wide range of education-based conferences and sport camps for internal departments of the University and external organizations at the local, regional, and national levels.
