University theater department will present Come
Blow Your Horn by Neil Simon in Woodburn Auditorium
April 13-15 at 8 p.m. Vintage comedy from the American
master of witty repartee, Come Blow Your Horn
was Neil Simon's first Broadway hit. Alan Baker is a
swinging-sixties bachelor whose younger brother, Buddy,
moves in with him. Shy Buddy, seeking to escape an
overbearing father, a dysfunctional mother and a future
in the wax fruit business, leaps head-long into his
brother's luxurious lifestyle and as he does so,
finds his brother increasingly adopting his!
The cast of characters are: Crystal Bleu Muglia,
Spearfish, as Connie; John Hursey, Ellsworth, as Alan;
Tim Bessette, Spearfish, as Buddy; Saisha Kuykendall,
Whitewood, as Peggy; Steve Blume, Pierre, as Father;
Leann Olsen, Spearfish, as Mother; and Rachel Eggebo,
Prairie City, as the visitor.

For the set design, crew
members include: Mosas Feeley, Spearfish; Steve Blume,
John Hursey, Leslie Lawton, Colebrook, NH; Teresa
Addington, Lead; Geno Pesicka, Rapid City; Joshua Lund,
Groton; and Paige Miller, Spearfish. The lighting and
sound crew members are: Tim Bessette, Kristine Schaffer
of Custer; and Nic Hanson, Newcastle, Wyo. The costume
crew are: Saisha Kuykendall and Leann Olsen, and the prop
crew are: Taffy Anderson of Belle Fourche and Rachel
Eggebo. Those in charge of public relations are: Crystal
Muglia and Amanda Olson of Nisland, and managing the
stage will be Dan Patterson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
