| The PEARL (Physical
Education And Recreation Leadership) Club is sponsoring a
mini-march on Lookout Mountain Saturday, April 8, 2000. Participants
will walk a trail on Lookout laid out and monitored by
PEARL Club students with water available at the summit of
the mountain and students along the trail to offer
discussions and identify flora, fauna, and geological
features along the walk. Participants may start no
earlier than 8 a.m. and must be off the mountain by 3:00
p.m. (no one will be allowed to start after 1:00 p.m.).
The registration fee to participate in the mini-march
is $10, those paying $20 will receive a commemorative
t-shirt, and donations of $25 or more will receive a
t-shirt and medallion. Registration/waiver forms were
sent out with Spearfish water bills and are available at
city offices or at the front desk of the Young Center.
Checks should be made out to BHSU Foundation Lookout Mt.
mini-march. Those pre-registering by April 5 can pick up
their t-shirts on the day of the march; those registering
that day will receive their t-shirts or medallions later.
Registration forms should be sent to Dr. Betsy Silva,
Unit 9425, or delivered to Nancy Shuck or Betsy Silva in
the Young Center.
