Last season, the Yellow Jacket women earned a second place finish and the men placed eighth overall at the NAIA Championships. Before the start of the NAIA national cross country meet, held this past Saturday in Louisville, Ky., the Black Hills State women's team was ranked sixth and the men were tied for 10th. That is where they were expected to finish. The Black Hills State women's team finished second in the team standings Saturday, while the BHSU men's team posted an eighth-place finish.
