Jackets take down #24 Rocky Mountain College!

The Yellow Jackets got off to a slow start in the first half but were able to catch fire the last 10 minutes to take the lead into halftime at 53-44. The Jackets were led by senior Corey Doolan and junior AJ Fodness in the first half. Both helped spark the run in the last ten minutes. In the second half the Yellow Jackets continued where they left off increasing their lead to 20 points. Rocky Mountain tried to fight back but Black Hills State University proved they were too much taking the game 96-83. The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Cain Atkinson who had 27 points making five from behing the three-point arc. Senior Corey Doolan had a perfect night going 7-7 from the field and 5-5 from the free-throw line to give him 24 points on the night. Junior AJ fodness added 13 points. Freshman Will John Johnson had nine points and 12 rebounds.
The 6-5 Yellow Jackets will be back in action this Thursday night at home as they face Division II University of Mary at 7:30pm in the Donald E. Young Center.
