Engle Named All-Tournament For Her Performance In Columbia

Columbia, Mo. - Freshman Kristin Engle was named to the all-tournament team for her performance in Columbia, Mo.
Engle is currently ranked second in the Dakota Athletic Conference in blocks per game with 1.24 and fourth with a hitting percentage of .352. She is also fifth in the in kills with 3.08 per game.
Black Hills State went 2-2 at the Columbia College Tournament.
Following the tournament, a 12-member all-tournament team and a most valuable player was recognized. Missouri Baptist's Ana Mercado was honored as the most valuable player. Members of the all-tournament team included Danielle Rynd from Lindenwood, Shannon Swiney from Missouri Baptist, Kristin Engle from Black Hills State, Skye Wade from William Woods, Kristen Quinn from Culver-Stockton (Mo.) College, Katie Werner and Natalie Koopman-Meyers from Concordia (Neb.) University, Amy Schiller and Jessica Hoeh from Georgetown (Ky.) College, and Rotich, Branco and Zhang from Columbia.
