Spearfish, S.D.- Black Hills State University women’s basketball Head Coach Mark Nore is pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Kent of Gillette, Wyo. Kent, a 6’1 forward/post, is a transfer from the University of Nebraska Kearney. While a senior at Campbell County High School Jordan averaged 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game while posting 60% from the field and 85% from the line. Jordan also led her team to a Wyoming state championship.
Jordan has numerous awards and accomplishments during her stint for Camels. As a junior, she was nominated all-conference and all-state. As a senior, Jordan was all-conference, all-state and was named the conference player of the year, the state player of the year and Wyoming player of the year.
Jordan comes from a program in high school where she was very well coached and has a tremendous history of winning games and championships.

She is one of the most recognized and awarded athletes we’ve signed here at Black Hills State. She will be a great fit with our current players as well as for the university.
