Women's Golf In Second Place After First Round Of The Black Hills State Invitational

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State women’s golf team is in second place after the first day of the Black Hills State Invitational.  The Yellow Jackets trail Minot State by eight strokes.

Emily Chapman is currently tied second place after posting an 87 in the first round.  Chapman trails overall leader Whitney Stanley from Minot State by three strokes and is tied with Minot State’s Kara Dietz for second place.  The Yellow Jackets and the Beavers each have four golfers in the top ten.

The Yellow Jackets will tee off on Monday at 9 a.m. at the Spearfish Canyon Country Club in Spearfish for round two of the Black Hills State Invitational in Spearfish, S.D.
