| April 05, 2010
Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State football team returned to the field today for its first full practice of the spring. Today was the first of 10 practices scheduled for the spring. The spring drills will conclude with a scrimmage on April 24 at 11 a.m.
“We are going to do some hitting, a lot of technique and schemes, and challenge some of the younger guys to see how they react against some experienced players,” said head football coach Jay Long.
The Yellow Jackets finished last season 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the Dakota Athletic Conference. Black Hills State will open the 2009 campaign at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa on August 28.
