The Yellow Jackets came into the game Wednesday night sitting in a three way tie for first place of the Dakota Athletic Conference and ranked 6th in the NAIA. In the first half, the Yellow Jackets got off to a fast start holding South Dakota School of Mines to only 34% from the field. The pressure was able to get to the Hardrockers as BHSU caused 22 turnovers during the game. The Yellow Jackets had the lead at halftime 36-22. In the second Half, the Hardrockers tried to stay in the game but could never get below 10 points as the Yellow Jackets took the game 64-53. BHSU was led by sophomore Katelynn Lamb and freshman Tiffany Thomas who each had 12 points.
The 21-5 Yellow Jackets will now travel to Jamestown College and Valley City State University for their last two conference games. This is a big weekend as it will decide who will win the DAC Conference. Please see the schedule for exact game times and locations.
