Yellow Jackets Improve to 22-4 Over Rival!

In front of a packed house in the Donald E. Young Center the Yellow Jackets defeated rival South Dakota School of Mines Wednesday night 71-53. Entering the game the Yellow Jackets were ranked 6th in the NAIA and on top of the Dakota Athletic Conference.
In the first half, the Yellow Jackets took a 9-4 advantage and never looked back behind strong play from sophomore forward Will John Johnson who recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds at halftime. At halftime the score was 37-30 BHSU. In the second half, the Yellow Jackets held the Hardrockers to only 23 points in the second half outscoring them 34-23. The final was 71-53 BHSU. The Yellow Jackets were led by Will John Johnson with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore Luke Enos added 14 points.
The 22-4 Yellow Jackets will now travel this next week to Jamestown College and Valley City State University for their last two conference games. With a win BHSU will clinch the DAC Conference. Please check the schedule for exact game times and locations.
