BHSU Finishes in Top 20 in the 2007-2008 U.S. Sports Academy Directors Cup!

Black Hills State University finished in the top twenty for the 2007-08 U.S. Sports Academy Director’s Cup standings. The award is presented annually by the National Association of College Directors of Athletics, the United States Sports Academy and USA Today to the best overall collegiate athletic programs in NCAA Division I, II and III and the NAIA.
Black Hills State finished in 17th place in the final standings. Azusa Pacific, CA was the cup winner with Simon Fraser, BC; Embry Riddle, FL; Fresno Pacific, CA and Concordia, CA rounding out the top five. Schools are awarded points for their national finish in all sports sponsored by their national association. Stanford won the Division I award; Grand Valley State, MI won the Division II award with the University of North Dakota 10th and the University of South Dakota 13th and Williams, MA was the Division III winner.
