Black Hills State University improved to 12-1 on the season after defeating Shorter College and Johnson & Wales University in the Perkins Classic. Entering the Perkins Classic the Yellow Jackets were 10-1 and ranked 7th in the NAIA. Click above for more details.

The Yellow Jackets opened up pool play this past Tuesday in Sioux City, IA against #1 Fresno Pacific University in the NAIA National Championships.  “We knew going in that they would be similar to the NAU teams we have played in the past.  They have height, power, and experience,” said Head Coach Jhett Albers.  Click above for more details.

SPEARFISH, SD…John Scott, head football coach at Black Hills State University, has announced his resignation. Since joining the Yellow Jacket football program six years ago, Scott has amassed an impressive 37-24 record.
