The Yellow Jackets men's basketball team traveled last weekend to Montana Tech for their first game of the 2007-2008 season. The Jackets got up on the Orediggers in the first half and never looked back as they took the game 84-76. The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Cain Atkinson with 21 points. Junior defensive back Tony Dill was named DAC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts against Mayville State University last weekend. Tony grabbed four interceptions in the win. Freshman Kraig Tafoya was named Special Teams Player of the Week for punting three times and pinning the Comets inside the 20-yard line all three times.
