| DAC Football Day at Fargodome! |

DAC Commissioner LaVern Jessen announced this weekend that their will be four games on November 8th in the Fargodome. The Yellow Jackets will play a conference game in Fargo and pairings are based on DAC standings which won’t likely be determined until the prior week’s games are finished. The # 7 and 8 teams in the conference will play against each other as will the # 5 and 6 teams. The top four teams will compete in a 1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3 format.

Black Hills State University football program announced the signing of 33 student-athletes as of Wednesday, February 19, 2009 as first year head coach Jay Long and his staff unveiled their first recruiting class for the Yellow Jackets. The class features 18 offensive players and 15 defensive players.

SPEARFISH, SD…John Scott, head football coach at Black Hills State University, has announced his resignation. Since joining the Yellow Jacket football program six years ago, Scott has amassed an impressive 37-24 record. Scott has accepted a position with Universal Athletics as a school and team representative for western South Dakota. Click above for more details. |

The Yellow Jackets placed seven players on the First Team All-DAC and five players on Second Team All-DAC. The Yellow Jackets finished their season this past Sunday with a 24-23 loss to South Dakota Mines. BHSU was 6-4 on the season. Click above for more details. |

The Yellow Jackets last Saturday took on the #18 ranked Jamestown College Jimmies on their home field. The Yellow Jackets came out strong and played like a team that had everything on the line. “Our kids didn’t have much riding on this game but more importantly we played the game because it was a football Saturday,” said Head Coach John Scott.
