Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University Athletic Director Jhett Albers announced today that the athletic department will be holding Swarm Sessions in communities surrounding Spearfish as a way of reaching out and gathering Yellow Jacket fans together.

Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University officially announced the hiring of men’s assistant basketball coach Tim Collins. Collins has been a part of several college coaching staffs over the past nine seasons. Collins will assist alongside first-year head coach Bradd Schafer in all phases of the program.

Jordan Rockwell has recently signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Black Hills State University beginning in the fall of 2010.  Jordan is currently a senior a Greeley West High School in Greeley, Colorado.
