Point Lookout Missouri – Black Hills State University National Championship hopes were cut short by a very strong University of Saint Francis team in the first round of the NAIA national championship. The Jackets fell 86-83.

The brackets came out yesterday afternoon and BHSU will take on University of St. Francis from Fort Wayne, Indiana.  USF will come in the game with a record of 23-9 and BHSU will enter with a record of 21-9.  Tip off is set for 4:00 PM CST in Branson, Missouri on the campus of College of the Ozarks.   

Four players were recently honored by the Dakota Athletic Conference by receiving All-DAC honors.  Junior Luke Enos was named DAC Player of the Year and 1st Team All-DAC for his second straight season.

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University Yellow Jacket couldn’t manage to overcome a strong night shooting by the Jamestown Jimmies as the loose in the semi-finals of the Dakota Athletic Conference Tournament 78-67.

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men’s basketball team rolled to victory over the Mayville State Comets in the first round of the 2010 DAC Conference Tournament 87-52.

Spearfish, S.D. –Black Hills State University will host the first round of the Dakota Athletic Conference playoffs on Wednesday night in the Donald E. Young Center.  The women’s basketball game will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the men’s game slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Junior Luke Enos from Faith, South Dakota was recently named Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Week.  Enos Averaged 31.5 points and 5 rebounds per game this past weekend as BHSU defeated Minot State University 93-90 and Dickinson State University 79-69 to win the DAC Confernce for the second year in a row.

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets win the Dakota Athletic Conference regular season and are the number one seed heading into playoffs with a 79-69 victory over the Dickinson State University Blue Hawks.

Spearfish, S.D. – Tonight the Black Hills State University Men’s Basketball team picked-up a win in the first of two enormously important DAC conference games. The Yellow Jackets fought off the tough Minot State Beaver squad 93-90.
