Black Hills State University will host the fourth annual BHSU Jacket Ride Tuesday, Aug. 9 during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The Jacket Ride is a patriotic motorcycle ride through the Northern Black Hills created to raise scholarship funds for student veterans.

The public is invited to attend the final two gardening workshops to be held at the Campus Garden located south of the Yellow Jacket Apartments along Hillsview Drive in Spearfish. Tuesday, July 26, Jeremy Smith of Cycle Farm will present “Till vs. No Till: Benefits of Not Tilling Your Garden” and on Tuesday, Aug. 2, Michelle Grosek, master gardener of Bear Butte Gardens will present “Organic Gardening for the Home Gardener.” Both workshops are at 5 p.m.
