Freeda Schroeder, ’45
Schroeder is being recognized for her long-time service (30 years) to Black Hills State University. At the university, Schroeder served as assistant registrar from 1948-1964 and as registrar from 1965 to her retirement in 1978. She assisted students with their academic planning such as class schedules, teacher certifications and graduate checks. One of her most enjoyable duties as registrar was putting the final signature on over 5,0000 diplomas.
