For those that attended during this time period.

Athletics Reception
If you participated in a Black Hills State athletic event as a player, cheerleader, or coach, this reception is for you.

KBHU Reception
KBHU-FM radio is celebrating its 45th anniversary. If you worked for KBHU-FM or served as an advisor, this reception is for you.

Student Senate Reception
If you ever served on the Student Senate, or as an advisor, this reception is for you.

We realize there will be some crossover with the receptions. You will be able to move from one reception area to another. 

Cost: $15 per person.

10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Spearfish Canyon/Deadwood Tour

The tour bus will depart from the Joy Center parking lot at 10:00 a.m., sharp! Enjoy beautiful Spearfish Canyon with a brief stop at Bridal Veil Falls. The bus will continue through the canyon to Deadwood. Here you will have approximately two and one half hours to stroll Deadwood’s Main Street. This will give you ample time for lunch (on your own) and gaming if you are so inclined. After Deadwood, we will backtrack to Lead with a stop at the Homestake Mine’s Open Cut Visitor Center, now officially known as the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center. You will arrive back in Spearfish at 4:30 p.m.

Cost: $20 per person (includes bus tour and guided tour of the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center and a surface tour of the Sanford Underground Research Facility).

1:30 - 4:30 p.m. | Lookout Mountain Hike

Meet in the Hillsview Church of the Nazarene parking lot

(1200 N 10th St., Spearfish)

Take a guided hike up Lookout Mountain for a spectacular view of the campus and city of Spearfish. Caution: To go up and down Lookout Mountain can be a very strenuous physical workout. Participate at your own discretion. Included in registration fee. Please indicate interest on the registration form.



2:30 - 4:00 p.m. | Seminars (Joy Center)

BHSU Campus Tour and Social

This scheduled time is for children of alumni. Come to this session to learn more about what Black Hills State University offers today. Each prospective high school student will receive a $500 scholarship if he/she enrolls at BHSU. This session will also include a campus tour and information on what scholarships and financial aid are available. This seminar is also open to parents.

Leaving a Legacy

This seminar will be conducted by Vice President for University Advancement, Steve Meeker. This seminar is for alumni who want to find out more about creating a scholarship in their name or in the name of a loved one or friend.

Seminars are included in registration fee.

5:30 - 9:00 p.m. | Downtown Friday Nights

Downtown Main Street Spearfish

My Second Rodeo followed by world renowned BHSU alums Williams & Ree and Gary Mule Deer. Food, beverage and other vendor items are available for purchase at 5:00 p.m., with the music/entertainment to start at 6:30 p.m. This family friendly event features children’s activities as well. There is no charge to attend Downtown Friday Nights.

Enjoy the spectacular view from the hillside, formerly the site of Pangburn Hall, overlooking Ida Henton Park for an exhilarating yoga workout. Included in registration fee. Please indicate interest on the registration form.



7:30 - 8:30 a.m. | Reunion Run/Walk

Meet in the gravel parking lot across from Lyle Hare Stadium. Sign-in begins at 6:45 a.m. Enjoy an early morning 5K run/walk around Spearfish. Bikes/strollers welcome. Cost: $15 per person (includes t-shirt). Please indicate interest on the registration form.



8:00 - 10:00 a.m. | Receptions

Fine Arts Reception
If you participated in any one of the following, or served as an advisor, this reception is for you: performing bands, choral groups, theatre/musical productions (props and liners), or created a work of art (painting, digital or otherwise) for a BH class.

Student Ambassadors Reception
If you served as an ambassador or as an advisor, this reception is for you.

Vets Reception
If you served on active duty, or are currently serving in the armed forces of the United States, or participated as a member or an advisor of the Black Hills State Vets Club, this reception is for you.

10:00 - 5:00 p.m. | Stadium Sports Grill Yellow Jacket Golf Classic

Spearfish Canyon Country Club

This tournament format is a four-person scramble. Entry fee includes tournament souvenir, 18-holes of golf, use of golf cart, and brunch. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. Brunch will be served at 10:30 a.m., with a tee time of 12:00 noon. Cost: $125 per person. This event is limited to the first 132 who register. Please indicate interest on the registration form or call Melissa at (605) 642-6460 to secure your spot.



12:00 - 4:30 p.m. | Open Play Round-Robin Pickleball

Spearfish Rec & Aquatics Center

Considered one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation. The sport combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The sport is for all ages and skill levels. No partner needed. Cost: $15 per person (includes t-shirt). Please indicate interest, shirt size, and skill level on the registration form. Space is limited so register early.



1:30 - 3:00 p.m. | Mountain Biking on Tinton Trail

Meet location TBD.

Follow a biking guide through Tinton Trail while enjoying a scenic view of Spearfish and the Northern Black Hills. Caution: To mountain bike on the Tinton Trail can be a very strenuous physical workout. Participate at your own discretion. Included in the registration fee. Please indicate interest on the registration form.

5:30 - 9:00 p.m. | BHSU Picnic

Joy Center/Ida Henton Park

Cap off the All-School Reunion with an outdoor picnic and the sounds of NUNSUN. Picnic items include: brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, baked beans, pasta salad, assorted drinks, etc. A cash bar will also be available. Included in the registration fee. Camp Yellow Jacket

Spearfish Rec & Aquatics Center, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Youth ages 6 to 12 will receive a Camp Yellow Jacket t-shirt when they participate in the activities provided by the Spearfish City Recreation Department. Activities include archery, kickball and camp style games. Please wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.

Cost: $10 per youth (includes t-shirt). Please indicate age of child, shirt size, and interest on the registration form. Space is limited to the first 50, so register early.

After Camp Yellow Jacket has concluded, the outdoor aquatics center will be open, from 12:00 - 7:00 p.m., for an additional fee of $6 per person (Fee must be paid the day of the event to the aquatics center. Please do not include this cost on our registration form). Children eight (8) years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Pick up your name tags and event tickets at the Joy Center. The hospitality table will be open Thursday, June 27 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

RSVP & Cancellations
To properly prepare for your arrival, the 125th All-School Reunion registration form and payment must be received by Thursday, June 6. Please allow time for mailing.

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to the University Advancement Office by 5:00 p.m., June 14 by calling (605) 642-6446 or email Tom.Wheaton@BHSU.edu. No refunds for cancellations after June 14.
