Black Hills State University student Michaela Stroup is fueling her passion for politics and knack for leadership into a prestigious political program in the nation’s capital.
BHSU student wins international business scholarship

 BHSU business student, Samantha Johnson, recently received a $7,000 scholarship from Zonta International, a worldwide organization of business professionals working to advance the status of women.  Johnson is one of 12 students worldwide to receive the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship.

BHSU Enactus Team raises money for future Business Leadership Scholarship
The Black Hills State University Enactus Team hosts a 5K race and shoe drive to continue its mission to raise money for a Business Leadership Scholarship and provide community service.  
Dr. Tom Jackson, Jr., will be inaugurated as the tenth President of Black Hills State University

The faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Black Hills State University invite community members to join the celebration of the inauguration of Dr. Tom Jackson, Jr., Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. in the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center on the BHSU campus. Jackson is the tenth president of BHSU. 

Psychology professor at BHSU gives equivalent of 19 years’ salary for scholarship initiative

Dr. James Hess, professor of psychology and chair of the School of Behavioral Sciences at Black Hills State University, recently pledged a $1 million gift to BHSU to establish the School of Behavioral Sciences Make a Difference Initiative.
