Hi! I'm Newley Kartak, a 2012 graduate of BHSU. I majored in Corporate Communication and Communication Arts with an emphasis in graphic design. Growing up in a small South Dakota town, I knew BHSU was The University for me. My passion for involvement on campus and in student organizations led me to my current job as an Admissions Counselor. 2. I was the 2011 Swarm Days Homecoming king.
3. I was named after a character on the TV show Gunsmoke.
4. I had a pet raccoon growing up.

6. I have a knack for collecting old things and refinishing them.
7. I have five siblings.
8. My favorite smells are leather, horses and rain.
9. My favorite food is bruschetta.
