Application Process
Welcome back to Black Hills State! If you previously attended BHSU or another South Dakota Regental University, and have not since then attended another university, please complete the Returning Student Application Form .
We encourage all students to follow these guidelines:
- Submit a completed Returning Student Application Form to the BHSU Office of Admissions ($20 app fee is waived for returning students).
- Watch for information in the mail that will give you dates when you will come on campus, meet with advisors and set up your class schedule.
Admission Requirements
Returning students must have a 2.0 (C) grade point average. Students not meeting the 2.0 GPA admission requirement may be admitted on academic probation.
