Procedure
A student who is seeking admission into a teacher education program must make application to the School of Education and must be accepted before he/she may register for any upper division professional education courses. The student may initiate this application process during the semester he/she will complete 63 semester hours in an approved program.
Procedures for Admission to the Teacher Education Program
A student who is seeking admission into a teacher education program must make application to the School of Education. These requirements and the application process are discussed in EPSY 302 Educational Psychology. Briefly, the process for admission to a teacher education program in the School of Education is:

Pick up an application form for admission to a teacher education program at the Office of Field Experiences, J203A.

Make certain that all required courses and tests have been taken.

Present professional portfolio to Mrs. Finkle for her approval and signature in the admission packet.

Fill out and return the packet with all other necessary paperwork as outlined in the admissions packet to the Office of Field Experiences, J203A. Students should complete the admission packet with the assistance of their advisor. The admission packet along with all necessary paperwork can also be mailed to the following address.
