Edit

Where is this program delivered?

All of the coursework and the field experience will be delivered in the Rapid City and Douglas Schools. The BHSU classroom is off-site from the public school placement. The schools selected to be learning communities in partnership with BHSU are:

  • Rapid City Central High School
  • Stevens High School
  • Douglas High School
  • North Middle School
  • West Middle School
  • Douglas Middle School

Edit

Why is the program in Rapid City?

The Rapid City and Douglas Schools offer a welcome opportunity to partner in developing learning communities for learners at all levels and diverse populations. These schools offer interns the opportunity to grow in experience and knowledge with teaching staff who are willing to simultaneously renew their thinking about teaching and learning. It is an exciting opportunity for all participants.
