You can:

• Complete certification online in one calendar year including student teaching experiences.
• Use your current degree to become fully certified to teach in a secondary school.
• Complete this program at a distance through one accredited institution, BHSU, which produces the largest number of teacher education graduates in South Dakota.
•  Student teach in your local school district which provides you with an inside track on obtaining a vacant position in your local area with the support of BHSU personnel. 
•  Move through the pogram with a cohort of your peers.
