The requirements for the Pre-K (Preschool) endorsement are as follows:
1. An approved program in child development or early childhood education
2. 24 semester hours in child development or early childhood education to include the courses listed below

*Course in Child Growth and Development
*Course in Teaching Students with Exceptionalities
*typically taken in undergraduate degree program
SPED 560 – Family Systems and Professional Collaboration
ECE 511 – Guidance for Young Children
ECE 513 – Early Childhood Curriculum
ECE 517 – Methods of Early Childhood Education
ECE 795 – Practicum in Early Childhood
